Bakery set to grow

A SELKIRK bakery is set to rise to the occasion with an extension to its premises.

Cameron’s has received permission to increase the size of its High Street bakehouse.

There were no objection to the plans from Scottish Borders Council’s heritage and design officer Mark Douglas.

He noted that the building was B listed, but said the grading related to the decorative tiles at the front of the shop which have been retained since it was owned by the Buttercup Dairy Company.
