It Hall turned out fine

Despite the usual dreich summer weather, the barbecue, book and bric-a-brac sale held in Cappercleuch Hall on June 23 raised more than £470 for hall funds.

We are grateful to the local people, tourists and businesses who supported our efforts and special mention must be made of Steve Kendal, whose accordion music kept everyone’s spirits up when the rain was hammering off the tin roof.
