Selkirk Scouts deliver the goods with fundraiser

On behalf of Selkirk Scout Group, may I take this opportunity to thank all those who supported the Selkirk Scout Post.

In particular, the Royal Mail for giving us permission, as well as the following outlets who sold stamps and collected mail – A-Z Stores, Mungo Park Court, Rodgerson’s, Shoe World, Spar (Raeburn Meadow) and Thornfield House.

The group would also like to thank the parents, leaders, young people and helpers who gave up their time to sort and deliver the mail and, most importantly, everyone who used this service for their Christmas post.

This year we raised £1,519.80 from this fundraising event which helps to keep the cost of subscriptions down as well as maintaining the Scout Hall. This, in turn, will hopefully enable more young people to enjoy the fun and adventure of Scouting in Selkirk.
