Showcasing Christmas

THE High School music department is busy putting the final touches to this year’s festive concert – A Christmas Showcase.

Pupils from first-year to sixth-year are involved in the musical extravaganza, which takes place on December 11 and 12 in the High School hall.

There will be singing groups, a ceilidh band, and accordion, brass and guitar groups among others.

Jane Rimmer of the music department said: “There is something to suit all musical tastes.” Both concerts begin at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the school office and Rodgerson’s newsagent, priced at £6 adults and £4 concessions.
