Sophie wows her Woll audience

editorial image

Cabaret artist Sophie brought her hit Edinburgh Festival Fringe show to the Woll Restaurant at Ashkirk and wowed her audience with her singing and comedy act.

Sophie has a unique style of comedy and has won awards for her shows.

Her rapport with the audience is a feature of her act and the audience loved her so much they were reluctant to let her leave the stage.

Sophie has promised to come back to Woll to perform another show for her new fans in the Borders in the future.

Geoff Cotton, ably assisted by Anna Dawson, brought his fast-moving comedy show, Light Relief to the Woll.

The show had just finished at the Fringe in Edinburgh and Geoff and Anna regaled the audience with original songs and impressions of sports stars such as Maria Shoutapova and special guest stars including James Bond!

They hope to return to Woll next year and enjoy the Borders hospitality once again.

More musical, comedy and cabaret acts are planned for the Woll venue.
