Hawick house is joint cheapest in UK
We’re told the average wedding in the UK will set you back just over £20,000.
Now, even with Valentine’s Day just around the corner (Sunday) there must be a lot of people who would think that’s a tad on the expensive side.

Research by online estate agents HouseSimple.com has found 24 properties currently for sale in the UK for the price of an average wedding or less.
As it turns out, there are four properties selling for £15,000 – and one of them is in Hawick.
2A Allars Bank is unlikely to win any beauty contests, but when it comes to price, it can’t be beaten.

Hide AdAlex Gosling, CEO of HouseSimple.com said: “They may not be much to look at, and they may need a little TLC, but it does seem crazy in this day and age, when the average UK house price is over £200,000, that you can still buy a property for less than a 10th of that price.”
