Spooky times as Rhinos mark Hallowe’en
Witches, warlocks and ghouls walked scarily abroad and turned Selkirk Rugby Club’s normally peaceful Philiphaugh Suite into a haunted hollow.
The spooky sensation was brought about when Selkirk Rhino’s rugby squads gathered to mark Hallowe’en.
There was a record turn-out of fun-loving youngsters in various guises, and the fancy dress judges were faced with a difficult task.
Pictured above, left, are the fancy dress winners in the three age group categories – from left: Georgia Main, Sean Martin, Ella Penman, Ruairidh Murray, Aaron Hogg and Maisie Maceira.
Across the country it seems turnips have now been overtaken by pumpkins when it comes to lantern-making and competition in this field was equally as keen.
