Jesus is for life – not just for Christmas
Santa is a busy man at the moment – reading all those letters and trying hard to make certain that no-one is left disappointed on Christmas morning.
The man in red gets a bit of reprieve during the rest of the year – he can sit back and enjoy relative peace with Mrs Santa, his elves and reindeers. But this is his busy time. It’s also a busy time for God – because it is surprising (or perhaps not) just how many people turn to Him at this time of year. The time of the birth of Jesus.
I’m sure He doesn’t mind all this extra business – but I’m also sure He would be much happier if those who make contact at Christmas kept in touch throughout the rest of the year.
