Costa Coffee moves into iconic Peebles building

One of Peebles' most iconic buildings is back in use this week for the first time in nine years.

The premises at Veitch’s Corner opened its doors on Monday as a coffee shop.

Costa Coffee has added to its 1,750 plus UK portfolio with the new outlet in the former outfitter’s building.

Several previous attempts to re-open the building have failed to materialise in recent years.
