Evening worship in Ashkirk

Have your say

The third of four country evening worships was held on Sunday in Ashkirk church. Arranged by the Reverend Marion Dodd, under the auspices of Melrose and Peebles presbytery, the service theme was again Joining together in Harmony rather than Conflict. After a welcome by the minister, the Reverend Margaret Steel, the service was conducted by Paul Goode, from Earlston church. Among others taking part were Hans Waltl, Atholl Innes, Graeme Cowe, Rosalin Scott, Fran Selkirk, Harry Dooley and Pat Walton.

The collection again went towards training ministry students. The final country worship will be in Broughton on September 7 at 6.30pm.
