Crime round-up

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole copper and metallic earth rods from a Selkirk farm.

The theft took place at Smedheugh Farm near the golf course between 4pm on Saturday and 8.30am on Sunday.

Elsewhere, three vehicles were broken into while parked on Weavers Court last week.

The thieves made off with a first aid kit and a phone charger.

The thefts took place between 4pm on Monday, January 15, and 4am on Tuesday, January 16.

Police are appealing for information on both incidents.
