Daylight bank attack

POLICE are hunting vandals who carried out a daylight attack on one of Selkirk’s banks this week.

The culprits smashed a window at the Bank of Scotland building on Market Place.

The incident took place at 10.25am on Monday while bank workers and customers were inside.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone who may have information about the attack to get in touch, either at the Scott’s Place station or another station in the Borders.
