Peace be with you

Today is the International Day of Peace.

This annual observance encourages ceasefires in war zones and the offering of humanitarian aid today.

Churches Together are keeping one church open today (St John’s) as quiet space for private prayer and reflection. All are welcome.

Jesus needed peace and quiet too. Then He could rest and pray to His Heavenly Father.

Do you long for peace in your life too?

Jesus said: “Peace I leave to you, the peace that is mine I give you: it is not as the world gives that I give.” Ask Jesus for this special peace.
