Photographers focus on Selkirk

SELKIRK Camera Club hosted the annual exhibition by members of camera clubs across the Borders, writes Bob Burgess.

And Hawick member John Peters, from Camptown, was very much in the frame. He lifted all four cups at the event staged in the parish church hall.

His winning entries were: best in show – Robin (pictured); colour print – Intimate Insight; black and white print – The Secret Glen; projected image – Winter’s Grip.

The judge was former Selkirk Camera Club member Linda Sneddon who is now a professional photographer.

Members from 11 clubs submitted entries – including 300 in the print section alone.

Helen Gray, Bob Brown and June Morrison were the Selkirk members awarded prizes.
