Private meeting

A REPORT regarding Scottish Borders Council giving financial help to Selkirk-based Scottish Borders Housing Association was discussed in private this week.

And the council is refusing to comment on the outcome of the debate.

A council spokesman said the report, by social work director Andrew Lowe, had been taken in private as it “related to funding for a particular property” and that there was “the potential to identify the owner and/or impact on negotiations”.
