The Ashkirk road from Ettrickbridge begins to fill in with snow as Tueday's blizzards take their toll.

Our intrepid photographer Alastair Watson braved the snow-covered roads this week as wintry conditions made all journeys a tricky proposition.

Thankfully, it didn’t last long, but if you are still hankering for the white stuff, here’s a few photos to keep you going until it happens again.
