Charities benefit from creative Souters

Valerie Robertson, exhibition convenor of  Souter Quilters recently presented cheques for �150 each to Chris Sharpe of Fresh Start Borders and Jan Beattie of The Lavender Touch.  The money was raised by a prize draw for a double bed quilt made by members of the group and displayed at their recent exhibition in Selkirk Parish Hall..
