Lindean Texel breeder Gordon Gray was among the champions at last weekend’s Peebles Show.
Mr Gray, who operates Ettrick Texels, took the much-coveted Texel breed title with a gimmer that took second places at both Biggar and Kelso shows this year.
The win at Peebles makes it six championships in six weeks with four different animals.
Mr Gray was delighted with the win: “I’m very pleased with the result at Peebles.
“It’s a major sheep show.”
He also enthused about this year’s change of venue for the event.
Normally, Peebles Show is staged at the town’s Haylodge Park, but improvement works forced a move to Nether Horsburgh Farm.
“I thought it was a tremendous setting,” added Mr Gray, who also took the Texel reserve breed championship with a one-shear tup.
Other local winners included J. F Irving & Son, of Mountbenger, Yarrow, who scooped the South Country Cheviot reserve championship.
