Borders MP and former Secretary of State for Scotland, Michael Moore, will be speaking in Selkirk next week in the third stage of his Road to Referendum campaign.
The meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday, April 10, in the Victoria Halls.
The Road to Referendum campaign sees Mr Moore holding a series of public meetings across the region to provide his constituents with an opportunity to get their questions on Scottish independence answered.
Speaking about the upcoming meeting in Selkirk, Mr Moore said: “We have just over five months to decide whether we stay in the United Kingdom family or go it alone.
“Five months to choose between remaining part of this four-nation partnership that we have built together or to break away and to start again.
“Over the last couple of weeks I have spent a lot of time speaking to people in Selkirk about the referendum. There are still a lot of unanswered questions for many people which I hope to address at the next meeting.
“I am looking forward to continuing the engagement with local members of the Selkirk community.
“Anyone can attend these public meetings, whatever their views, and I would encourage them to bring their family, neighbours and friends.
“I will do my best to answer any questions posed by my constituents, and look forward to interesting discussions with them.”
