Borders Business, Events & Tourism Fair 2014 takes place at Springwood Park, Kelso, next Wednesday, March 12, from 11am-3.30pm.

The Borders biggest networking event has been organised in association with Borderevents and Crescent Information.

One of the organiser’s Lesley Wilkinson, told us: “It is a great free day out in the Borders to which everyone is invited to come along to see the wealth of local businesses, services and events we have in and around the Borders.

“Marie Curie Cancer Care are providing refreshments, home baking and light lunches throughout the day, so you can eat and drink and at the same time help raise funds for the charity.”

Now in its second year, the organisers have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of people looking to promote themselves and their services to the people of the Borders.

With 120 tables booked to date – there is something for everyone – arts and crafts, attractions, charities, eateries, events, health companies, hotels, professional services and much, much more. And many of the stalls holders have great prizes to be won.

Local radio station TD1 Radio will also be there to broadcast from the event, with interview from businesses and visitors throughout the day.

For anyone in the tourist industry – guest house, B&B and accommodation providers – this is your chance to collect all your local information for your visiting guests.

And it’s ideal for networking and making new contacts.

There is free admission and parking. Call: 01750 725480 for more details.
