Can we take this opportunity to say a big thank you on behalf of the Haining Volunteers and the Haining Charitable Trust to those that came through the doors of The Haining House last Sunday at the memorabilia sale and bought a piece of Haining history.
Also a thank you to those who made donations and contributed by buying goods from our stalls, or to those who even just had a cuppa and a bit cake.
All these funds help in the future plans for the estate and house, and it was warming to see as many local people and visitors alike attending the event.
We look forward to seeing you all again at the Book Fair on November 10 and the Christmas Fair November 17&18 where we have many stalls in the house for you to purchase early gifts for Christmas.
A thank you is also extended to the manager of Sainsbury’s in Selkirk who has placed a notice board in the local shop to include any information and future events involving The Haining.
Once again thank you to the people of Selkirk and the surrounding area for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you again at the next event.
