Borderers wishing to apply for a postal vote for the Scottish Parliament election on May 6 are reminded they only have until 5pm on Tuesday, April 6 to do so.

Polling stations will be open as normal on May 6, with a range of measures in place to ensure that those who wish to vote in person can do so safely, including adherence to social-distancing guidelines and the wearing of face coverings.

If you are running late with returning your postal vote application, use a Royal Mail priority post box wherever possible.
