County conference

HEAD and deputy prefects from secondary schools across the Borders attended the Student Head Team conference which was hosted by the local high school and held in the County Hotel.
The one-day conference discussed their role within the school and how the sixth year can be made as rewarding as possible for students. A high school spokeswoman said: “It was a big success, lots of new friendships were made and while it was a great deal of work for our head team to organise, it was an extremely worthwhile experience.”
