selkirkshire antiquarian society now has its own website – www.selkirkshireantiquariansociety.co.uk
In addition, the society has completed all the monumental inscriptions in the area and they are available on CDs.

They include the Auld Kirk, Brierylaw and Shawfield in Selkirk, plus Ettrick, Yarrow, Kirkhope and Ashkirk cemeteries.

Old copies of St Mary’s and Lindean are also available.

Apart from Brierylaw and Shawfield, which are too large, all the others have digital photographs with each headstone, details of churches, militia lists and school attendance details from the early 1800s.

The society’s new website has more details.
