SANDY Bell and Aileen Allan will represent the Ettrick Forest club in the Scottish Charter Mixed Pairs next season after beating George and Betty Burgess in a keenly-contested local final of the event.
The club's first open competition of the season was the May Day Open Pairs, won by Mark Neill and Alec Ross.

Runners-up: John Pringle and Frank Forster (EFBC). Semi-finalists: Colin McKinnon and Ian Borthwick (Selkirk BC), and Harry and Isa Bell (SBC).
