THE Ladies brought the curtain down on their season on Sunday with the playing of the Captain's Prize.
A good turnout was blessed with perfect playing conditions.
Capping off a superb first season on The Hill was Marjorie Rae, who took the honours with her best score to date, 94 (31) 63, which sees her start the new season playing off 28.
Alison Rutherford won the Silver Division with an impressive 75 (8) 67. There was to be no repeat of last week's phenomenal scoring for Martine Pow, but she managed to win the scratch prize with 73.
After a delicious lunch, lady captain Merle Heard presented the prizewinners with elegant clocks and photoframes. The money raised was sent to Macmillan Cancer.
