SELKIRK'S under-13 cricketers are celebrating this week after winning the Border Junior League for the third year in a row.
The Colts retained the trophy after winning nine of their 12 league games this season and now go on to compete in the Knock-out Cup, facing Melrose in the quarter-finals.
Coached by Malcolm Ford, the team has had a fantastic season with several players also making regular appearances for the second XI and Thomas Penman even turning out for the firsts.
Having claimed the league trophy, the side this week expressed their thanks to sponsors NDS Joiners and JD Builders.
Selkirk's Under-15s are awaiting a decision after finishing level on points with Peebles County in the league.
