Under-13s go down to the wire
ONLY Biggar/Peebles, Manderston and Hawick can now catch Selkirk or indeed, decide the destination of the 2008 Under-13s championship.
The young Souters have both Hawick and Manderston to play in the last two games of this season, as do Biggar/Peebles. Exciting stuff. Of course, the results in these games will also decide the final league places and therefore who plays who in the quarter-finals.
Latest results: Selkirk (107-4) beat Biggar/Peebles (54-6) by 53 runs; Gala conceded to Kelso, as they were unable to raise a team; Hawick (70-8) beat Manderston (69-5) by two wickets; St. Boswells v Melrose to be confirmed.
Which means the quarter-final draw currently looks like this (with two matches to play): Selkirk v St Boswells; Hawick v Melrose; Biggar/Peebles v Gala; Manderston v Kelso.
