Selkirk Rugby Club's Philiphaugh Suite was the venue for a special roadshow staged by its main sponsor, Halbro.
As the UK’s largest producer of rugby clothing, the Bolton-based manufacturer used the event to showcase no fewer than 12 new product designs.

“This is a great opportunity for us to fly the flag in Scotland,” said Halbro managing director Robert Moores, “and to show our customers some of our new garments. We are very happy to be here in Selkirk, having built up a good relationship with the club over the past four years through our sponsorship agreement.

“Everyone at Halbro is very proud of what the Selkirk club has achieved in the past season, and we’re delighted to have played a part in that success. The impressive facilities at Philiphaugh make it an ideal place to meet up with our customers, and we intend holding more roadshows here in the future.”

To mark Selkirk’s triumph in the BSPC Border League and Radio Borders Kings of the Sevens competition, Halbro has produced commemorative T-shirts and tops, orders for which are now being taken by Selkirk RFC’s shop manager Gus Boag.
