Aileen and Donny rule the roost in Invitation Pairs
Ettrick Forest played their Scottish Building Society Invitation Pairs in brilliant sunshine last weekend.
The eventual winners were Aileen Allan and Donny MacLeod, who beat Peter Mirtle and Stuart Henderson in a close final.
Beaten semi-finalists were Tom Brown and John Jackson, and John Pringle and Tam Heatlie.
Ettrick Forest would like to thank Scottish Building Society once again for their kind support.
Along at the Selkirk green, both the ladies and gents held their respective singles competitions. In the ladies' final M. Weir defeated H. Scott in a close game while the Gents final saw C. McKinnon complete a hat-trick of victories in this competition by defeating A. Scott.
During the year Selkirk Bowling Club has run two fundraising tournaments, as well as having a charity bottle on the bar.
This resulted in the amount of 402.98 being donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The club thanked everyone who helped make this possible.
