Chance to be a spokesperson on future

Cycling Souters are being encouraged to attend a meeting to help shape the future of the sport.

Scottish Cycling and Scottish Borders Council (SBC) have joined forces to provide regional coaching and volunteer support for cycling in the area.

The partnership provides a chance to involve the local cycling community in supporting and shaping its development and on Wednesday at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel in St Boswells, from 7pm to 9pm, doors will be opened to the public to go along to have their say.

Keith Stocker, regional development coach coordinator from Scottish Cycling, said: "We would like to use this event to tell people about some of the initial planning which has taken place around the partnership.

"We would like to hear people's thoughts and aspirations and gather their ideas for the future development of cycling in the Scottish Borders."

Anyone interested in attending should contact Keith Stocker on 07944 964697 or email Keith.
