Go on, have a shot

PROSPECTIVE Selkirk sharpshooters are being invited to Thirladean on Sunday (12.30pm) to have a go at longbow shooting.

Ettrick Forest Archers are holding a come-and-try event during which members of the public can learn how to hold the bow, nock arrows and shoot at the target boss. Tuition will be provided by club members. For directions, see club website www.ettrick forestarchers.co.uk
