Hockey

ENTRIES are being taken for Selkirk Mini-Hockey Club's annual tournament, to be played on Saturday March 27 (11am-2pm) at Selkirk Cricket Club.

Players in the first/new group will play an exhibition match while the more experienced players will take part in the tournament proper.

As the tournament will be held over lunchtime players are being asked to supply food to go on sale in order to raise funds for the club. P3, 4 and 5 players are being asked to take six filled rolls each (fillings to be specified when entering) while players in P6 and 7 are requested to bring cake and candy. Parents are also required to run the refreshment stalls.

A social evening will be held in the Cricket Club from 7-9pm on the same evening. This will be open to players, family and friends at a cost of 1 per person, payable on the night. A short presentation will take place followed by a disco (Wullie Bruce).

To enter, volunteer or for more information contact Sara Jamieson.
