Tennis team on good form

WITH the clay court season behind us, and Rafa securing a record seventh Roland Garros French Open title, it was back to business for the Selkirk Tennis Club Men’s first team last week.

They defeated West Linton 4-0 and, after a great start to the season, must be confident of the possibility of making an early return to the top flight of Borders Tennis for 2013.

Team: Greg Canning, Scott Lees, Neil Brown and Josh Thomson.

The B Team match was cancelled last week because of wet conditions underfoot in Kelso.

On Sunday, June 24, 11am-3pm, the club will host their annual open day. All are welcome to try their hands. Selkirk High School car park will be used for parking.
