The Selkirk Junior Open tournament will be played this Sunday (September 12) - there is still time to enter if you contact Jocky Hume on 20824.

Coaching at Ashkirk starts this week with Murray Cleghorn - see noticeboard for details.

Selkirk Ladies played for the Summer Medal last week.

The balmy conditions resulted in some good scoring and in the Silver Division Jean Beattie claimed one of her lowest-ever scores, carding a superb 89 (26) 63.

Lady captain Martine Pow warmed up nicely for her recall to the national team this week in Cardiff with a scratch 66 and claimed the only two.

The Ladies would like to thank Heatherlie Garage for sponsorship of the medal.
