Be Prepared – for a great experience. Tonight is the final performance of the Scout and Guide concert in the Victoria Halls.

Audiences have been raving about the show which puts a wealth of talent from the town’s youngsters on centre stage for all to enjoy.

Show-goers are treated to veritable feast of acting, music, drama and humour.

Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies do their organisations proud by both their commitment and their performances.

There is no general theme to the shows – each age group has selected what they believe will delight the audiences.

Producer Graham Coulson told The Wee Paper: “Around 180 youngsters are involved and they are a real treat and a credit to their various organisations. They have been practising since February and the entire caboodle is fantastic.

“And the oldies – former Guides and Scouts – bring their own magic to the show.”
